At some of the lowest rates in Western Massachusetts, HG&E offers service and maintenance to residential heating equipment and appliances, including:

  • Clothes Dryers (Gas/Electric)
  • Room Space Heaters (Gas)
  • Unit Heaters (Gas)

Our professionals are focused on the repair and maintenance of natural gas powered equipment, offering prompt 24-hour emergency service* and exceptional customer care. HG&E charges for the labor, parts, and materials used in the repair of customer equipment and appliances according to the approved service fee schedule.

24-Hour Emergency Service

We do not want you to be left in the cold!  At some of the lowest rates in Massachusetts, HG&E offers 24-hour emergency service for repairs and maintenance of gas and electric appliances and equipment.  Contact emergency dispatch, if you are in need of emergency service, maintenance, or repair. 

Rates for Residential Customers

Normal service (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM)

    • First 30 minutes - $10
    • Each 1/4 hour thereafter - $10

Emergency service (weekends & all other hours)

    • First 30 minutes - $50
    • Each 1/4 hour thereafter - $15

Rates for Commercial Customers

Normal service (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM)

    • First 30 minutes - $30
    • Each 1/4 hour thereafter - $15

Emergency service (weekends & all other hours)

    • First 30 minutes - $95
    • Each 1/4 hour thereafter - $20

*Note: Emergency service rates apply on Massachusetts State Holidays. Commercial rates apply to all non-owner occupied and multi-unit dwellings and all commercial and industrial class accounts.
