Dates: December 19, 2022 – February 17 (the end date may vary), Monday through Friday, weather permitting (excluding holidays)
Time: 7 am – 3 pm
Due to required transmission line maintenance, a portion of the Ashley Reservoir walking path will be inaccessible during the hours of 7AM-3PM from December 19, 2022 through approximately February 17, 2023 (excluding weekends and holidays). During this period of time, HG&E will be performing critical maintenance along electric transmission lines in the area. In order to ensure public safety, access will be prohibited within the work zone while work is being performed.
HG&E understands that Ashley Reservoir is important to visitors for a variety of recreational uses. With that in mind, we will do our very best to expedite the required work. The red area on the map indicates the total project zone (from the pump station to the railroad). Only portions of this walking path will be closed throughout the project, so visitors will not be able to complete the entire loop. Throughout the project, crews will clearly mark the work zone, for your safety.
