As part of its commitment to safety, HG&E educates the public about safe practices, such as Dig Safe®, what to do in a natural gas emergency and the dangers of carbon monoxide. This education takes place in the form of annual bill inserts, communication with emergency officials, even meetings with local schools to educate children on the dangers of natural gas leaks.
If you are a resident of Holyoke or Southampton, an emergency response official, or a contractor providing services in either community and would like to receive information on natural gas safety, please contact us!
HG&E Educates
You are never too young or too old to learn about energy usage and the environment. With this in mind, HG&E has developed educational programs to benefit the whole community.
